Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy Note 6 in July now according to new leaks Galaxy Note 6 will be IP68 certified, just like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The IP68 certified body should then be able to withstand submersion in one and a half meters of water during half an hour. This would make the Note 6 Samsung’s first true water and dust resistant phablet, though the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 edge also features a similar body.

Samsung has imported an ‘iris cam’ into India for the usual R&D activities. Though details are scarce, the part is explicitly labelled ‘Samsung Mobile’. Of course, the Galaxy Note 6 is not mentioned anywhere, but as the next flagship to be launched, it is the prime candidate to feature an iris scanner.

According to previous leaks smartphone  likely to feature a 5.8-inch Slim AMOLED QHD display running at 2560x1440pixels. 6GB of RAM With 64GB and 128GB storage options, there is no word whether it is expandable or not(but it should be there). In the photography department, a 12-megapixel camera with Super OIS Plus is also likely to be in tow.

New report says that Note 6 may carry a whopping 256 GB if internal storage, this news comes after Samsung announced officially the production of the first 256GB Universal Flash Storage 2.0 chip. This new chip will bring massive improvements to file processing.

"We expect Samsung to release the Note 6 a month or two before the Apple iPhone 7, to try and grab that window of opportunity," said Neil Mawston, the executive director at Strategy Analytics to Bloomberg. He also noted that the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S7 will be "the best-selling Android smartphone in 2016."
